Everything Dodger

On May 27, Vivitar enabled thousands of Los Angeles Dodgers fans to get up close and personal (and take some fantastic photos) with their favorite ballplayers including Nomar Garciaparra, Juan Pierre and Brad Penny by participating in LA Dodgers Photo Day.

Fans were treated to a 2-1 victory by the home team over the Chicago Cubs and a day of fun and photography with the Dodgers thanks to Vivitar, who gave away 40 digital cameras - 20 of the rubber armored, underwater 6-Megapixel ViviCam 6200w and 20 of the stylish 7-Megapixel ViviCam 7388s.

Universal Studios sponsored the event. As guests mingled with their favorite players, Vivitar received "thank-you's" from the Dodgers on the scoreboard and digital signs throughout Dodgers Stadium.
